The Grand Firing of Taltos! Huzzah!

Fast forward to November 2002. I've been Garou Wizard, Garou Admin, and Garou Staff, for years. I have Hadrian as my Admin, who has been a staffer since I got my Admin position. Everything is great, I'm on the complaints alias and there haven't been any complaints about anything garou-related all year that I recall. I take a week off for Thanksgiving.
During my vacation, Hadrian strikes a renown vote between Treason's alt and Tzim's alt. After reading the mail, it's easily the most blatant abuse of a renown vote in six months.
I come back on December 2nd 2002 to a Mail from Treason. This is the first mail from Treason indicating that she thinks something is wrong. From the tone of it, I'm supposed to take Hadrian out and have him shot, and not bother asking for any proof. I send a mail asking for proof, and get a reply with some trumped-up charges. I refute the charges. I found out later from Tanner that he thinks he did get voted for joining the sept anyway.
Tuesday evening, December 3rd 2002, I log in to find I've been fired and staff has been notified. Apparently because I didn't have the good grace to hang Hadrian out to dry. He's been fired entirely on the basis of having two alts vote Christian for taking a sept position. There is no real appeals process in place, Treason made sure to appoint herself and Chinese Guide to God status upon hiring Mr. Cyber and myself as Wizards. So that's the end of that.
In the third week of March 2003, staff-ran garou npc's from distant lands had made a proclamation to the effect that the great hunt had been called on Hadrian the Silver Fang Elder and that his rank had been reduced by one. Furthermore, the mysterious Get of Fenris Uber-Worldwide-Justice League was angry at me for some reason or other and instead of speaking to me directly were using Bjorn's new pc Magnus as a messenger. I left of my own accord on March 20th, proclaiming at a tribal moot that I was off to Valhalla and stepping down as Jarl. Taltos then went to the Halls of the Dead, along with the rest of my alts.

This is my rebuttal of the "proof".
For Nox's, Kael's, and Lavendar's rite renown, all renown for learning rites requires a log.
For renown spamming, Hadrian votes people when he lets them in, generally, and HadrianALT was voting people who told him about it. I'll ask Christian about it, but I don't see him on much.
For his own spirit scenes, Ladon ran this scene during his testing phase, I actually set the gift on Hadrian, Hadrian just cleared the request off the machine.
For Cole, Hadrian doesn't have access to FetishBLDR, only I do. We've used him to test things a couple of times, being a cybered non-kinfolk human. I cleared the stat.
For favoritism, I told Hadrian I didn't think Tanner should be in the sept since he has a mage spouse. As far as him and the others who don't have votes, Hadrian said he didn't mean anything by it, he thought he'd voted all the new people. So if any one feels slighted, have them drop me a mail.
In summary, unless Christian says he never told HadrianALT about being in the sept, I don't plan on doing anything since I do not believe Hadrian did anything remotely wrong.

Frankly, it's about time the garou sphere was pulled into line with the rest of the mush - no favoritism, no staff co-running plots for each other, no Cool Toys for Staff Alts Without Equal Access Given to Other Players. Consequently - since you seem to have no interest in fixing, nor give any indication that you see anything wrong with it - you have both been fired.
All fetishes presently owned by you and your alts and acquired through plots mutually engaged upon will be reviewed.
As Chinese Guide comments, "Sorry, guys. You screwed the pooch."

While, I do agree it is only 0.1 gain of renown, that isn't the point. The point
is this is very poor renown voting. We require renown votes to be specific,
with specific details, not vague generalizations. How did he help you out? Did
he put five dollars of gas in your car so it wouldn't run out on the way home?
Did he pull you up the side of a cliff where you were dangling by one foot? Did
he rip open a crush van with his bare hands like the jaws of life and rescue
you before the gas tank exploded? There are millions of ways someone could help
you out, so how about narrowing it down for us a bit.

The Garou Sphere is being drug into line with the rest of the mush in so far as how its affairs are conducted. Due to the previous incumbents regarding this as their own private fief, control of the Garou Sphere has been revoked to the hands of myself and the Chinese Guide. It's been eight years since this page was last updated so I rather doubt it gets many page views. I logged on today to see that my final remaining character had
been idle-purged. I can hardly blame anyone, I had not logged in for eight months. I think he was in less than five scenes since Taltos and everyone else was retired, so it is hardly a great loss.
