i am glowing with an ethereal fire
burning away in my cocoon
emerging more beautiful and frail
more delicate and powerful
than a shard of light
piercing the pitch darkness.
something has drawn me
here
something is
coaxing me along
urging me to become
whatever it is
i am to become.
