Ninja Calculations

I decided to type up the equations used to determine both the ninja efficiency and the actual cost of a ninja.

(I hope you appreciate this. you have no idea how difficult it is to type mathematical equations using pico)

Here's the exact mathematical equations. Specially derived using the ninja constant - Ö(n).

Ninja Efficiency

               N
efficiency =  --- x 100
               Q     

where:
N = # of ninjas received during a certain buying period
Q = # of quarters it took to get N ninjas

example:

say you put 10 quarters in. You get the following:

  1. orange nunchuka
  2. sticker of the white power ranger
  3. yellow ninja with tool
  4. sticker featuring a group picture of the MMPR
  5. Wile E. Coyote magic eye sticker
  6. blue weeny swords
  7. sticker of white power ranger
  8. sticker of green power ranger
  9. yellow grappling hook
  10. pink throwing star

so the ninja efficiency would be:

              5
efficiency = ---- x 100 = 0.5 x 100 = 50%
              10


Actual Ninja Cost

The equation for the ninja cost is given by:
                (cost per item)
cost(ninja) =  ------------------
                ninja efficiency

so, using the efficiency from the previous example, your average cost of the ninja is actually:

               $0.25 
cost(ninja) = ------- = $0.50 = 50 cents per each
                0.5
