YEARS RIDING MOUNTAIN Since 1990, borrowed bikes in late 80s

FAVORITE LOCAL TRAILS Trials downtown, trying to ride around the fountain
Also, lake trails in Springfield are short but decent
Most of the time I head to MO to ride Chubb, Berryman, etc.

BEST MOUNTAIN BIKING EXPERIENCE 1998, White Rim trail in Canyonlands Utah. 103 miles in 3 easy days, with sag rover and beer.
Or maybe the Portal cutoff of the Poison Spider Mesa on the same trip, I didn't break my gripshift until the last ender, and it kept working.
Or maybe in 1997 when Pauli and I got lost and got a ride back to camp from the Nature Conservancy sweetie in the Catskills. Don't tell Sara.

WORST MOUNTAIN BIKING EXPERIENCE In 1998 when I broke my Diamondback and helmet in Washington Park before the ride.
