BEST MOUNTAIN BIKING EXPERIENCE Riding Chubb on my single speed. It reminded me that hurting while you ride is OK.

WORST MOUNTAIN BIKING EXPERIENCE Worse than compressing my spine. Laying my bike over on a flat piece of trail (my wife's 4th real ride) and breaking my knee. On vacation.

FAVORITE PRE-RIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE Coffee. Cereal. Coffee. Oh, and coffee. Did I mention coffee?

FAVORITE POST-RIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE The rest of my powerbar, capri sun and a beer.

I have a new one. Any of the ass cheap .5L beers I can get at any corner market in Germany. Unless it's Moninger. What crap. The German's have their own version of Russina Roulette. 5 beers and a Moninger.

FAVORITE HARD LIQUOR Los Bike Punch followed by gin and whatever it's with. Or single malt scotch. Or small batch whiskeys. Or rye.
